What Baby Boomers Need to Know about Medicare

On Thursday, February 7 at 7 p.m., a representative from KarstenBradley Advice Solutions will talk about current Medicare benefits and how they apply to your retirement. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

Pajama Party with Miss Misty

Get ready to bounce and boogie with Miss Misty and her guitar on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. – 10:45 am. Put on your jammies, grab your favorite stuffed animal (no blankets, please) and join Miss Misty for a rockin’ morning complete with “bedtime snacks!” For babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their big people.

Family Make and Take Valentine Craft

Design and bedazzle a Valentine on Saturday, Feb. 9 in the Children’s Department.  Stop by anytime between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and create a Valentine for your “special someone.”  Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Author Fireside Chat

Join us on Sunday, February 10 from 2 pm – 3 pm, for the second of three “Author Fireside Chats” with Avon Lake’s Sherry Newman Spenzer. Baby Daddy is Spenzer’s first novel, and is based on her experiences within the legal system. Her book offers a fictional account of one man’s battle with the court process as a defendant in a legal world that nearly consumes him.

Jr. Tree House Club – Domino Rally

Kids ages 6 and 7 are invited to join the Jr. Tree House Club on Tuesday, February 12 from 4 pm – 4:45 p.m. Create designs and race paths with dominos. Build them up to knock them down! Register in DiscoveryWorks or by calling 440-933-7848.
