Want 120 Marching Shoremen on Your Front Lawn?

Tickets on sale now for this year's "Band on Demand."

Have you ever wondered what it's like to have 120 band members, twirlers and color guard on your front lawn? Here's your chance to find out.

In 2011, Mike and Cynthia Brittain of Legacy Pointe Parkway bought the winning "Band-on-Demand" ticket and their house quickly became the center of attention when a line of buses pulled down the street and more than 100 band members disembarked, grabbed their instruments and headed down the street.

Then they organized themselves in front of the house and the Brittains (and neighbors) enjoyed a half hour, once-in-a-lifetime personal performance.
"It's a dream come true," Mike Brittain said in 2011, before he and his wife posed to a photo with the band's section leaders.

Ticket are on sale now for this year's Band on Demand, which helps support the marching band. The tickets are on sale now until the close of the Homecoming Festival on Sept 29.

The winner will get to pick the Avon Lake location for the band to march on Oct 4. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Winner need not be present. Contact 440-930-0632 to find out how to get tickets.
