Thanks to the generosity of both residents and businesses the Avon-on-the-Lake Garden Club has surpassed its fund-raising goal!
To date, $2400 has been donated to the Blue Star Memorial project. The additional contributions will be dedicated to the landscaping and maintenance of the memorial. The Memorial will be placed at Veterans Memorial Park.
Our next step is to order the Blue Star Memorial. And we are also planning the Dedication Ceremony which will take place in September. The ceremony will be open to all, and we hope that any past or present members of the military will show up in uniform!
