Avon Oaks Country Club Hosting 15th Annual L'Amour du Vin

The 15th Annual L’Amour du Vin, presented by EMH Healthcare includes several local restaurants, that will gather Oct. 18 at Avon Oaks Country Club.

It marks the third time since 2009 the event is in Avon.

L’Amour du Vin, now in its 15th year, is billed as “The Premier Wine & Food Tasting Event” in Lorain County and Cleveland’s West side. The event, which runs fro 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., benefits the Arthritis Foundation, Great Lakes Region, Northeastern Ohio.

Community Development Manager Alicia M. Hansen, ­­said L’Amour du Vin is one of our several special events in the Northeast Ohio area, but it is our primary fundraiser in Lorain County.

“The funds support local programs, services and research in our 22-county service area,” Hansen said.

L'Amour du Vin hosts more than 400 guests and features wines from around the world and cuisine from top-notch area restaurants, including Avon Oaks Country Club, Catherine's Chocolates, Wood & Wine, Flavor The Town Catering (VIP only), Legacy Restaurant & Grille and The Wood Fire Grille (VIP only).

In addition, highlights of the event include the exclusive KeyBank VIP Lounge with decadent cuisine The Wood Fire Grill & Flavor The Town Catering, a unique silent auction, live music and the opportunity to win fabulous prizes.  

Event proceeds will support local programs and services for the nearly 1.5 million Northeast Ohioans with arthritis and fund critical arthritis research conducted at local institutions in Northeastern Ohio. 

VIP lounge tickets are $90 and includes access to the VIP Lounge where you will have your selection of complimentary specialty cocktails, along with exclusive cuisine presented by featured restaurants. General admission benefits also apply.

General Admission tickets are $60 in advance ($75 at the door) and includes a hearty sampling of 15 award-winning restaurants cuisine, plus a selection of wine from international vintners. Business, business casual or cocktail attire is suggested.
