Story Times Begin

Story Times being Monday, Sept. 17. There is no registration for Family Story Times or Step-up Club. Tickets are available one-half hour before each scheduled time and are picked up on a first-come, first-served basis each week.

Cleveland’s Vanishing Sacred Architecture

Celebrate the are and architecture of Cleveland’s historic neighborhood churches on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. Authors Barry Herman and Walter Grossman will share photographs and discuss their book, Cleveland’s Vanishing Sacred Architecture.

New! Bounce Wiggle, Giggle

On Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m., join us for this very special Lap Sit Story Time. Designed for newborns to 18 months (one baby per caregiver, please), this story time is filled with music, nursery rhymes, finger play and stories, sure to make your baby “bounce, wiggle and giggle.” Registration starts Sept. 12 in the Children’s Department or by calling 440-933-8128.

Wee Science Sampler

This one-hour program has hands-on activities designed just for children 3-5, accompanied by an adult. These activities, all of which can be replicated at home, are designed to entertain and educate your little ones. Classes are Wednesday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. OR 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. OR 6 p.m. - p.m. Space is limited Registration begins Wednesday, Sept. 12 in DiscoveryWorks or by calling 440-933-7848.
