Gas prices took another jump on Friday.
Prices for a gallon of regular gas in Avon Saturday morning ranged from $3.14 at members-only to $3.39 at and $3.36 at . These are the highest prices since October of 2008, according to the website GasBuddy.com.

"It's crazy," said Alexa Miller of Avon, who said she fills her gas tank about every seven to 10 days. "It's not changing anything for me yet, but it's still money I'd rather not be spending."
Concerns over instability in the Middle East, Libya in particular, were driving up crude and gasoline futures and speculators were getting in on the action, GasBuddy reported in its blog.

"There's more of a chance that the Cleveland Cavaliers make the playoffs than oil prices being dictated more on supply and demand than outside influences," this week's blog entry said.
