The Rock Pile Opens In-store Cafe, Drive Through
Pizza, breakfast items, coffee and cold drinks now available.
The Rock Pile in Avon just opened a brand new cafe In the north end of the store.
Store managers said the cafe was a good fit for the garden center which sells landscaping supplies. People often sit and plan gardens, they said, and find out what they need in the yard. Adding a sit down cafe made sense.
"It's a natural fit," one of the managers, Erin Bringman said.
The cafe is currently open during store hours, 8 am (Sundays at 9) and closing about an hour before the store closes.
A grand opening is planed for Saturday, June 29, when the cafe will be open from 8 AM to 6 PM. (Permanent hours have not yet been set.)
The cafe has a drive through that is currently open at 8 AM, but will be opening at 6 AM after the grand opening.
Patrons can enjoy Donuts, pizza, cold drinks, hot drinks and will be adding bagels and muffins.
