In our last post we discussed the top 6 remodeling projects that give you the most return value when selling your home. Of the top 6 items 4 of them were exterior projects, the two indoor projects are:
Attic Bedroom: Cost = $50,148; Resale Value = $36,346; Cost Recouped = 72.5%
Minor Kitchen Remodel: Cost = $19,588; Resale Value = $14,120; Cost
Recouped = 72.1%

Basement Remodel: Cost = $63,378; Resale Value = $42,338; Cost
Recouped = 66.8%

Recouped = 60.2%
This survey was the result of more than 3,000 Realtors responding, well this is a national average survey the results are fairly typical for our market in the Greater Cleveland area.
