Bay Village, Ohio – Best Town for Families

Bay Village a great home for families

Family Circle magazine recently announced the 10 Best Towns for Families for 2012 and our very own Bay Village was voted #1!

The criteria considered for this list includes outstanding schools, affordable housing, plenty of green space and a giving spirit.

Bay Village offers an idyllic setting, white picket fences, tree-lined streets and a 5 mile wooded shoreline on Lake Erie.  An easy commute to Cleveland makes this a popular suburb for those seeking a slower pace than “the big city” offers.  The school district consistently ranks in the top 5% of state schools; the student/teacher ratio is 16 to 1.  We all know schools are an important part of the equation when home buyers are deciding where to purchase, local residents will tell you the teachers are caring and the small class sizes mean students reap the rewards.

The community has a can-do spirit, they support each other and many of the current 15,363 residents are second and third generation Bay Villagers.   There is a good variety of activities for everyone - concerts in the park, or a night of bowling, galleries and gardens.

Bay Village residents, tell us why you would choose to live here?   What is your favorite local activity?

A few facts:

  • Median Income: $80,667
  • Median Home Price: $187,750

Currently there are just over 100 homes for sale in Bay Village, you can find them here, there is a wide variety of price ranges and features – I am sure we can find one to meet your needs!
