Computer And Internet For Beginners Program

A Computer And  Internet For Beginners program will be held, Thursday, January 10 at 3 p.m. at the Lorain Public Library System’s Avon Branch Library.  The hour-and-a-half program will be a hands-on introduction to identify computer parts and how the Windows operating system works. Also learn to surf the net, including how to use Internet Explorer. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743. 

Friends Of The Avon Library Meeting

The Friends of the Avon Library will hold its next business meeting, Thursday, January 3 at 7 p.m. at the Lorain Public Library System’s Avon Branch Library. New members are welcome. Knitting And Crochet Club

Adults and teens, join this community group of knitters and crocheters on Fridays, January 4 and January 11 at 11 a.m. at the Lorain Public Library System’s Avon Branch Library. Beginners and those with experience are all welcome to bring a current yarn project to work on, share ideas and help each other learn the basics or something new. Adult Evening Book Discussion

Adults are invited to join the Evening Book Discussion Group when it meets, Wednesday, January 9 at 7 p.m. at the Lorain Public Library System’s Avon Branch Library.
