Join this growing group of small business owners as they network and learn ways to improve their businesses. These informative workshops are part of Avon Lake Public Library’s Small Business Resource Connection, whose purpose is to aid in the economic development of small businesses in the community.

Environmental Series – Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry

On Wednesday, March 14 at 7 p.m., Pete Banks, founder of the Lorain, Cuyahoga and Erie chapters of the international organization, Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry, will tell his story. Learn about the process of meat donation, who pays and who benefits.

Wee Science – Meet Stuffee

Children ages 3 – 5 are invited to meet the Library’s blue haired giant, Stuffee. On Thursday, March 15 from 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Stuffee will help your children learn about basic nutrition, how food is digested, and what your heart does. Space is limited.
