ADULT BOOK DISCUSSION

The Avon Branch Library’s adult book discussion group is reading The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom. You can read this book, too, and join the group on Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the Library. The Kitchen House is a tragic story filled with suspense. COMPUTER AND INTERNET FOR BEGINNERS

Learn computer basics at Avon Branch Library Thursday, March 7 at 3 p.m. At Computer and Internet for Beginners class, participants will receive a hands-on introduction to computers, including identifying computer parts and how the Windows operating system works. The instructor will also explain how to use Internet Explorer to surf the Web. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743.

KNITTING AND CROCHET CLUB

Work on a beautiful knitted or crocheted piece at Avon Branch Library. The Library’s Knitting and Crochet Club meets the first and second Friday of each month. Beginners and experienced adults and teens are welcome. Bring a current yarn project to work on, or come to share ideas. This community group helps each other learn. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743.

TECH HELP

So many devices, so little time. Confused about something technology related?  Come to Avon Branch Library on Saturday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m. for Tech Help. Tech Help is an informal session about the use of computers, tablets, eReaders, the Internet and so on. Don’t be left in the dark. Come ask the library’s knowledgeable instructor your tech questions.
