#PatchRebuilds: Hash Tags Mean $125,000 for Sandy Victims

Help those hardest hit by tweeting.

It’s been a few weeks since SuperStorm Sandy has come…and gone. And now the rebuilding starts. Patch is helping.

While many in Northeast Ohio were affected, it was the east coast that bore the brunt of the storm. Like many others, I was without power for a few days. An inconvenience, yes, but no real long-term consequences.

The pictures featured were taken by my sister, Terri, who lives along the Hudson River in one of the hardest hit cities,  and from the Hoboken Patch.  My sister's town was ravaged as the Hudson surged and swept over the town. Her daughter’s school has been destroyed, and many friends and neighbors lost their homes and belongings.
