Pipe Bursting Continues In Spite Of Rain

Construction continues, Inwood sidewalks are repaired.

Utilicon Corp. crews installed 310 feet of sanitary sewer polyethylene pipe, set manhole #3, and completed 15 home laterals this week on Dellwood Road, in spite of heavy rain. Another run is scheduled for Monday or Tuesday morning on Dellwood, south of Durrell. Crews also repaired sidewalks on Inwood.

Residents will be notified 48 hours ahead of work schedules and asked to reduce water usage while work crews reconnect home laterals. Local access and school bus traffic will be maintained. Do not park on tree lawns within work areas.

Concerns relating to construction should be directed to Avon Lake Municipal Utilities at 440-933-6226 on workdays or 440-933-3229 on weekends and holidays. Road repair damages should be directed to the City Engineering Department at 440-930-6141.
