Celebrate National Library Week

Avon Lake Public Library celebrates National Library Week, April 14 – 20 -  a time to highlight the value of libraries, librarians and library workers.  Patrons will have a chance to enter drawings for prizes. 

Laptop Learning Lab - Facebook

Learn how to stay connected with friends and family through Facebook.  The Laptop Learning Lab is offering a class on Monday, April 15 at 10:30 am.  Register for this FREE class at the Reference desk or by calling 440.933.8128 x249.

Growing Your Business – How to Use LinkedIn

This workshop is FREE and open to all business owners who are interested in networking and growing their business.  Topics covered will include LinkedIn profiles, company pages and groups.  Join us on Tuesday, April 16, from 9:15 am – 11:00 am. 

Red Cross Babysitting Course

Taught by certified Red Cross instructors, this course includes basic instruction in child safety and care, first aid and infant CPR.  Classes are Saturdays, April 20 and April 27 from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm.  Students ages 11 – 15 are welcome and must be able to attend both sessions.  $45 fee includes workbook and first aid kit.
