Award-Winning Irish band, RUNA, to Perform at The Sandusky State Theatre

Come start the St. Patrick's Day season off on the right foot!!
Join RUNA at the Sandusky State Theatre as part of the Firelands Symphony Series as they celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a fantastic evening of

music, step-dancing, and fun!  It will be a celebration to remember!

Internationally

acclaimed and recent Irish Music Award-winners for Top Group (US,

IRE, EU, UK) and Top Traditional Group in a Pub, Festival, Concert, and


Independent Music Award-winners for Best World/Traditional Song,

RUNA is sure to

delight!  Through their

repertoire of both highly energetic

and graceful, acoustic melodies,

along with their fusion of

music from Ireland, Scotland,

Canada, and the United States, this

vocal and instrumental

ensemble gives its arrangements of


traditional songs and tunes a

fresh sound.



Members of RUNA have played with Solas, Riverdance, Slide, Clannad,

Fiddlers’ Bid,

Moya Brennan, Eileen Ivers, Hazel

O’Conner, Full Frontal Folk,

Keith & Kristyn Getty, Barcó,

Téada, and the Guy Mendilow

Band.

RUNA will be joined by fantastic uillean piper and flute player, Michael Stribling, for this show!
