Blue Star Memorial Dedication Ceremony

The Avon-on-the-Lake Garden Club will be presenting the city with a Blue Star Memorial on Sunday September 22 at 1pm.  It will be placed in Veteran's Memorial Park. 

The memorial honors all men and women of our Armed Forces, past, present and future. 

The ceremony is open to the public and especially anyone who has been or is currently in the military.  Please come dressed in uniform if possible. 

Participants include the American Legion, Avon Lake
Scouts, Avon Lake HS Woodwind band members, Mayor Greg Zilka,
and representatives from the Garden Club of Ohio. 

Please come and take part in honoring our men and women
who have given so much.
