Join some of the nation's finest chefs and food writers at this fundraiser for Veggie U, a non-profit organization that is part of the Culinary Vegetable Institute, and is dedicated to teaching children about farm-to-table eating, good health and fighting childhood obesity.
Among the guests and chefs will be Food Network star Aaron Sanchez, Greenhouse Tavern owner Jonathon Sawyer, author and former Gourmet editor-in-chief Ruth Reichl, author Michael Ruhlman, Master Sommelier Serafin Alvarado and Jeni Britton Bauer, founder of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams.
There will be a wine tasting class, celebrity chef demonstrations, about 30 chef stations, Chinese raffles, live and silent auctions, artisan food vendors and wine vintners.

A VIP party from 4 to 5:30 p.m. will feature small plates, champagne, an exclusive live auction, and a chance to mingle with the celebrity guests.
