An Apple a Day

The ides of summer are upon us and, with it, Will's annual summer ick.  Been a long two weeks of wheezing, coughing, crying, no sleeping, stomach flu, dehydration, doctors and ERs.  He shared his ick with me and I'm mentally and physically battling this flu.

As an aside, my advice to anyone who cares - do not use CCF's Jacob's ER in Avon unless you have a really bad splinter you need removed.  Saw a friend basically waved off in major pain from there and had the same happen Tuesday.  Went in on hour 25 of no wet diapers after Will violently vomited for two hours the night before.  Red alert, right?  Apparently not.  Doctor gave him anti-nausea med (still unsure why, I stated vomiting stopped the afternoon prior), 3 oz pedialyte, half a popsicle and sent us home to be comfortable with a much bigger TV.  Note to self - when emergency services are needed, drive to Rainbow as long as he isn't blue from lack of oxygen.

Back to work after a week of working from home, so will keep this short for now.  I have been told angels have a setback of sorts (either increase in seizures or illness) before a spike in a skill.  Check this out:

This mama couldn't be more proud.  Anyone who complains about their life needs to meet Will.
