Frances C. Gouldsberry, 84, Past President of Avon-on-the-Lake Garden Club

Frances C. Gouldsberry (nee Carollo), 84, of Avon Lake, past president of the Avon-on-the-Lake Garden Club and Avon Lake Historical Society, Cleveland Museum of Art docent and League of Women Voters member, died Oct. 11.

She is survived by her children, Suzanne Wolfe, Lisa Cox, Pamela and Scott; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and siblings, Theresa Carollo, John Carollo and Vincent Carollo. Her husband of 50 years, Elmer E., is deceased.

Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at , 163 Avon Belden Road.

Prayer service will take place at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, followed by 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at , 32929 Lake Road.
