Ida Carlson (nee Yana), 89, of Avon Lake passed away on June 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born April 29, 1924 in Cleveland.
Ida was a domestic engineer and a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Avon Lake. She loved her family and grandchildren.
Mrs. Carlson is survived by her sons Robert Carlson and Gary Carlson (Nadine) of Avon Lake; grandchildren Scott of North Ridgeville and Jesse of New York City; and great-granddaughter Isabella.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Howard Carlson; parents Joseph and Rose Yana; and sister Rose Yana.
Friends may call 5 p.m. -8 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 at Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Steeber will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
