Laurie A. Ireland (nee Farkas), 49, of Avon Lake, who worked as a licensed practical nurse for Kingston in Vermilion and in Avon Lake, died Aug. 6.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen and Thomas Jr.; four grandchildren; her father, Stephen Farkas; and siblings, Stephen M. Farkas and Kathie Shaver. Her mother, Sandra Farkas (nee Drompp), is deceased.
Calling hours are 3-7 p.m. with 6 p.m. services Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain.
