Marian C. (Noveski) Smitek, 90, died May 16.
Smitek was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Grafton. She lived in Avon for 60 years.
She worked as a social worker for Catholic Social Services and was a member of .
Smitek is survived by her son, Michael Smitek of North Ridgeville, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Paul "Frank" Smitek, son Frank J. "Frankie" Smitek, and brothers Thomas and Joseph Noveski.
