Mary Beth Conner, 51, of Avon Lake passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2013 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake.
She was a 1979 graduate of Avon Lake High School and earned a Fine Arts degree from the Columbus College of Art and Design and later earned an Education degree from Kent State University. She worked in the field of graphic design, spending time working for an Atlanta newspaper.
Mary Beth is survived by her mother, Joan Conner (nee Hammond) of Avon Lake, brother Jim of Avon Lake and brother David and sister-in-law Trish of New York, NY. She is also survived by her fiancé, Dennis Tate, of Avon Lake, nieces Lily and Ava, five aunts, three uncles and 10 cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, David Conner.
All Services are at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, on Sunday, July 28, where friends may call from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Mary Beth Conner Fund at any First Merit Bank.
