Murrill "Molly" O. Woodhead, Worked for Secret Service in WWII

Member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Avon Lake.

Murrill "Molly" O. Woodhead (nee Ohle), 93, of Avon Lake, passed away on Sept. 4, 2012 at in Avon Lake.

She formerly resided in Homosassa, FL and Charlotte, NC.

Molly was born on Oct. 14, 1918 in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from business college and worked for the Secret Service as a secretary during WWII.

Molly was active with the Women’s Guild at Homosassa and a member of in Avon Lake.

She was an avid bridge player and loved to read (averaging 2-3 books per week). Molly was also a seamstress and enjoyed knitting.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Burns (Patrick C.) and preceded in death by her son, Michael L. (Vicki). She is also survived by grandchildren Tori Rudkin (Peter), Stephanie Mailloux, Lindsay Nickolls, Stacy Krupa (Steve), Greg and Scott Woodhead; great grandchildren of Ella and Nick Rudkin, Mady and Luc Mailloux, and Christian and Kyle Woodhead. She is preceded in death by her husband William T.

Memorials may be forwarded to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. A private memorial service will be held.
