Olga Ann Adamission, Formerly of Avon Lake

Once worked at the Aqua Marine

Olga Ann Adamission (nee Paliwoda) 93 of Sheffield Lake formerly of Avon Lake, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at Rae Ann of Westlake Skilled Nursing Center. She was born Oct. 7, 1919 in Cleveland.

Mrs. Adamission worked as a waitress at Cleveland Hopkins Airport and the Aqua Marine in Avon Lake. For a time Olga and her husband lived in California, while there she worked as a bank teller. She was a member of Avon Lake, working the fish fries. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and playing Bingo.

Mrs. Adamission is survived by daughters Carolyne A. McMullen of Avon Lake and Paula A. Sallay (Greg) of Byrdstown, TN. Other survivors include four grandchildren James, Carrie, Paul and Brandy and two great grandchildren Jayden and Ethan, as well as nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul R. who passed away in 1974. She is also preceded in death by parents Stefan and Anna (nee Kachmarck) Paliwoda, brothers Ambrose and Emil Paliwoda, sister Stephanie Didoschak and nephew William Witushynski.

Private family services will be held with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Covina Hills, CA. Arrangements are by the Busch Funeral Home, Avon Lake. Memorial Contributions may be forwarded to SolAmor Hospice 837 Crocker Road
