Timothy E. Orr, 53, of Avon Lake

Timothy E. Orr, 53 of Avon Lake, passed away on Nov. 4, 2012 at University Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was bon on Nov. 10, 1958 in Bethel Park, PA.

He grew up in Bethel Park and graduated from Penn State University in 1980 earning a bachelor degree in Business Administration. Tim was employed for 30 years as Director of Credit Services for May Company. He was an animal lover and will be deeply missed by his cats, Dee-Dee and Wendy. Tim also enjoyed golfing and cars, especially Corvettes.

Tim is survived by his brother, Gregory R. Orr of Cincinnati, and sisters Laura L. Friend (Carl) of Eighty Four, PA and Lana L. Kentros (Michael) of McMurray, PA; sister-in-law Kathleen M. Orr of Bethel Park, PA; 7 nieces and nephews; and 14 great nieces and nephews; and dear family loved one, Shirley A. Misenko. He is preceded in death by his parents Herschel B. Orr and Dolores J. Orr (nee Fetters) and brother Stephen C. Orr.

The family wishes to thank all the dedicated physicians and professionals at University Hospital Transplant Institute, in Cleveland and St. Johns Westshore Hospital, in Westlake. We also are so grateful to his devoted caregiver and friend, Gloria.
