For the time being think about "Is your work meaningful?" And, does it even matter?
A number of studies and books have been written over the past few years about a fundamental shift occurring in the workplace; an unprecedented desire to connect our work to something meaningful. These studies have shown that when we feel we are doing something meaningful with our time at work, levels of productivity dramatically increase as does motivation, morale, customer satisfaction … you get the idea.
