Wrong way to fry to spuds

On June 17 police received a call of fireworks being blown off near power lines. Fireworks were not involved; spuds were. Police advised a resident from the Village on the Green not to shoot his potato gun in the city. Discharging a potato gun is not legal. No citations were issued.

Falling down, not breaking in

A Belmar Drive woman thought she heard someone forcing their way in through her back door and called the police June 21. Police arrived and found a tree had fallen in front of her house.

Road Rage

A driver on Avon Belden Road near Walker Road called police regarding a road rage incident. The caller said an older, balding white male got out of a silver SUV and “threatened to kick caller’s ass.” The caller wanted a log entry made.
