The is asking for help in finding a portable breathing machine that was taken from a yard in the area of Parkwood Avenue and Redwood Avenue on Monday, March 19.

The machine, valued at $16,000, is medically needed to assist and Avon Lake disabled ma who lives in the area.
It was reported to the department that the machine, described as a Hill-Rom Vent Machine that was in a 24-inch by 18-inch black plastic Craftsman toolbox with duct tape on the handle was inadvertently left in the driveway near the curb lawn. (We're working on a photo...please check back.)
Lt. Duane Streator believes that someone might have thought it was placed out as trash and taken it by accident.
“It was close to the curb; we think someone may have thought it was put out for trash and taken it and may not realize what was in it,” Streator said.
The device is valued at $16,000 dollars.
