Dogs Reported as Stuck In Pond, Maybe Not: Avon Blotters

This week in the Avon police blotters. 

Four dogs may or may not have been “stuck” in the reservoir by Home Depot.

Avon Police received a call that four dogs were in the reservoir between Home Depot and Applebee’s Aug. 31 and could not get out of the pond.

The dogs were recognized as belonging to a Center Road family.

When police arrived they were unable to locate the dogs but learned from Commons security that there is a hole in the fence on the west side that the dogs often come through.

A second individual said the dogs were running the perimeter of the pond; they weren’t in the water.

Man at Two Bucks Injured After Fighting Wall

Police were called after patrons at Two Bucks heard a loud argument that had been going on for a good 10 minutes.

A squad car was called after a man was reported bleeding from his hands.

The injured man had had an argument first with an unknown male, then with a friend.

He opted to take his aggressions out on a brick wall. After being treated at Two Bucks, the man was released to his girlfriend.
