Fischbach Promoted To Captain in Avon Police Department

Present at the morning ceremony were several members of the department and other City departments as well as his parents, Cathi and Larry Fischbach of Avon, his wife Jenny and children Bradley and Jolie. 

"I look forward to working with Larry in his new capacity," Police Chief Richard Bosley said. "He is a very capable police officer who cares very much about the City. He is a good fit in his new role."

Capt. Fischbach is a lifelong resident of the City and has worked for the city of Avon since 1992. He started his career as a part-time dispatcher and has served as a patrol officer, sergeant and lieutenant.
