Front Yard Gets Turfed Again: Police Blotter

The following information was supplied by the Avon police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A resident in the 33700 block of North Fall Lake Drive reported on Jan. 8 that his front lawn had been turfed for the second time in two weeks.

Police saw fresh ruts in the lawn, as well as older ones.

The resident said he believed an acquaintance was responsible, but did not know why they would do it. No charges were filed.

Just Say “No”

Someone called Avon police to report that pills were scattered all over the intersection of Doral Drive and Crown Colony Drive.

Police got there and found that they weren’t pills, but Good and Plenty candies.

A home in the 36200 block of Montrose Way was egged the night of Jan. 7. No arrests were made.
