Police Blotter: Bones Found in Garden

The following arrest information was supplied by the Avon police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A resident in the 3300 block of Truxton Place called after finding what appeared to be a piece of a backbone in their garden.

Police asked a doctor from  to examine it. The doctor determined it was a piece of pig bone that had been cut by a butcher.

 Some residents in the Camelot neighborhood were startled in the early morning of May 30 when someone pounded on their door shortly after 4 a.m.

 The first incident happened in the 4700 block of Bridle Court. Police found footprints in the grass, and followed them over to Churchill Drive. A second report came in from the 38900 block of Camelot Way around 4:30 a.m.

The door-knocker was not found.
