Police Blotter: Woman Crashes Car Into House

The following information was supplied by the Avon police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A woman swerved to avoid an animal and ended up crashing into a house.

The crash happened around 8:14 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 2400 block of Center Road. The woman, who ended up having an asthma attack after the crash, told that she was heading north on Center Road when some kind of animal ran across the road. She hit the brakes hard, veered to the left, went off the road, struck a pine tree and some shrubs, then hit the house.

No charges were filed. The woman was treated and released from .
