This week in the blotters:

A Cleveland Police officer found his vehicle was rifled through overnight on June 14 at apartments. In the car at time was a gun belt containing a badge, two magazines containing 30 9mm rounds, three sets of handcuffs and asp and a taser.

That same night, a woman had her vehicle broken into at the Village of Avon and had her car lit on fire. Police found the car smoldering. Another vehicle at the complex was also rummaged through and a wallet was taken.
