A black Titleist golf bag with a set of Calloway Irons, Nike driver and Taylor Made woods were found on Jaycox Road and turned in to police April 30.

A Rachel Lane resident said he had a bike bag with tools and pump taken from his unlocked vehicle overnight on April 26. An Angela Lane resident reported a GPS was taken from his car. He was unsure if the vehicle was locked.

Following the April 28 wind storm, police received reports of a downed power line on Norman Avenue, a tree on a residence on Lear Road, a downed light pole on Deer Run Lane, a tree on power lines on Beck Road, a tree blocking the roadway on Tradewinds Drive, a trampoline in the road on Dorchester Drive, trees down on Redwood Boulevard, James Circle, Glenview, Beachwood and Courtland and downed lines on Redwood Boulevard and James Circle.

Online, out of line

A Forest Boulevard resident complained of being harassed by a relative on Facebook.

A resident at Village on the Green apartments  complained of a drunk resident knocking on her door. The person returned almost an hour later, knocking again. Police advised the intoxicated person.

Police were notified a Ford Explorer had its gas tank emptied over the weekend.

Juvenile assault

A juvenile reported to police he was assaulted by another juvenile on the path behind the Avon Lake Public Library.

Rivaling gas

An employee of Peerless Electric reported copper was stolen from two houses under construction on English Turn.
