Soto Fundraiser a Huge Success

Chili cook-off raises money to help injured officer and family

Last week's to benefit injured Avon police officer Pete Soto was a smash.

The event, which sold out and brought in close to 600 people, raised more than $12,500 to help Soto and his family as he recovers from injuries sustained in an October crash while driving his police motorcycle.

Avon police officer Chris Barton, who organized the event, was thrilled and grateful.
