Two Injured in 4 Car Crash in Avon that Closed SR 83

Man flown by Life Flight after Wednesday accident.

A crash involving four vehicles resulted in one male being flown by MetroHealth Life Flight and SR 83 being closed for approximately one hour May 22.

A dispatcher at the Avon Police Department said they received a 9-1-1 call at SR 83 and Fitch Farm at 11:26 a.m. on Wednesday.

Four vehicles were involved in the crash; three vehicles were towed. SR 83 was closed until 12:24 p.m. when the road was cleared.

A source at Avon Fire Department said that two individuals were injured. Names and ages were not available at publication.

One male of unknown age was flown by MetroHealth Life Flight for his injuries. A 66-year-old woman was taken to St. John Medical Center.
