What's Your Sign? "Under Arrest": Police Blotter

The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A woman was arrested for drunk driving shortly after 1 a.m. on Jan. 21 after reported she went off the road on Interstate 90 near the Lorain-Cuyahoga county line, plowed into two road signs, got out of her car and almost walked onto the interstate.

Gabrielle Repko, 23, address unknown, was arrested.

Repko, heading west, had just crossed into Avon from Westlake when she went off the road. Her gray Ford SUV hit a blue “Emergency Call 911” sign, knocking the left pole completely off. She then hit a speed limit sign so hard that only the bottom 12 inches of the poles were left sticking out of the ground. The rest of the sign and poles were several feet away.
