Who Let the Dog Out? The Dog!

The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A dog took advantage of the head cone it was wearing to go for a traffic-snarling walkabout near Bentley Drive and Center Road around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 15.

The cone blocked the signal from his electric fence collar, so the dog was able to get out of the yard without any problem.

It caused a small traffic back-up when it got onto Center Road before Avon police were able to catch it on Bentley and return it to its owner.
