Annual ADA Picnic is Sunday, Aug. 14

Free picnic welcomes all residents to the Post 211 on Walker Road

The city of Avon Lake is hosting its 21st Annual ADA Picnic on Sunday, Aug. 14 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. the American Legion Post 211. This free event will be held at 31972 Walker Road in Avon Lake.  

Hot dogs, beverages, ice cream, snacks, music, and door prizes will be available throughout the event. Slider, the Cleveland Indians mascot,   will make an appearance at 5 p.m. Enjoy a special appearance by Al the Alligator and Cupcake the Clown.

This event is open to the public with or without disabilities and was made possible donations of the businesses and residents of Avon Lake. Bring your family and friends to celebrate the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990.
