Candidate Statement: I moved my family to Avon in July of 2000, so my children could have the opportunity to attend a highly-rated school system with a history of community support.

My participation in PTA, boosters organizations and several levy committees allowed me the opportunity to see the passion that the school administration, all of the staff and many community members have for this district.

When an opportunity to participate at a higher level became available I sought to fill the Board position so I could do my part to help maintain the high level of service the schools provide to the community and to attempt to maintain the consistently efficient manner in which these services were delivered.

It is my desire to remain a part of this highly engaged group of professionals, as my interest in the system is to both maintain the quality education I desire for my own children as well as protect the investment we have all made in our homes and community.
