Chester Road will be closed just west of Nagel Road on Oct. 18.
Don Damyanic, the project manager for the Nagel Road interchange, said Friday that the closure would only be for that day.
Columbia Gas will be doing some work on the gas lines near the Chester Road intersection with Nagel Road, Damyanic said.

Lear Industrial Parkway will serve as a detour. Flaggers from Columbia Gas will be there to guide drivers.
