Five Things You Should Know This Week

School board meeting, hockey playoffs and Valentine's Day.

  2. school board meets at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage North Elementary School. Summer projects at school properties will be discussed.
  3. meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall. Leading the agenda is  clearing the way for the installation of a lift station near Chester and Nagel Roads as part of the improvements in the area.
  4. In its first season, hockey team has made the OHSAA Tournament. It will host the winner of Wednesday's Rocky River-Lakewood game at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m. at the John M. Coyne Recreation Center in Brooklyn.
  5. Valentine's Day is just one day out of the year. The other 364 days matter to marriages, too. is hosting a conference, , Feb. 17 through 19. The Art of Marriage is designed to help couples apply biblical principles to their relationship. Singles are also welcome to attend.
