Holiday Mailing Deadlines Loom

Planning on shipping for the holidays. We have the dates from the Post Office for the last days to ship to make sure presents are delivered in time for Christmas.

The United States Postal Service has some big deadlines coming up in the next several days if you want your items to get where they're going in time for Christmas. Here are some of the key dates:

  • Saturday, Dec. 17: Last day to ship to military service members.
  • Monday, Dec. 19: Last day for international shipping.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 20: Last day for First Class Mail.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 21: Last day for Priority Mail.
  • Thursday, Dec. 22: Last day for Express Mail.

And don't forget, if you're going out of town over the holidays, you can put a hold on your mail delivery for while you're gone. You can submit your request at the U.S. Postal Service website.
