Sure wish this guy would do the job we are paying for and keep his original commitment - which was fulfill his term. How is it that politicians can basically interview (full time) for a new job and get paid too? Trust me I'm no fan of Sherrod Brown. What terrible options we have for this race.

I'm pretty sure Josh Mandel would do what's in the best interest of us all vs Brown. Brown votes lockstep with Obama. He is a Big Government politician....Brown is Anti-Business.

Would be good if Mandel grew-up and actually finished a job he was voted to do. Next...since he's of age he'll run for President? Could be worse...we still could have Dennis the Menace around.

Brown is pro business and has been around since before Obama. He has alwayslooked out for the best interest of the people, all people! His only discrepancy is he does not fall in step andnbow down to the big corpoate bullies like e Koch brothers, which may end up getting him unelected tosomebody who will. That will be a shame.

LOL...Those dastardly Koch Brothers...employing about 67,000 employees...man they are so mean. Can you imagine those BULLIES building a business, then PAYING all those unassuming people to work for a living under them? Capitalism is so devastating on a society....it makes people work, prosper and enjoy being successful.

Here are the job numbers the media is not reporting about the August job numbers that just came out. This is what the media is telling you...and it's true. "The unemployment rate dropped from 8.3% to 8.1%. 96,000 jobs created in August." Here are numbers they are NOT telling you: 1) 368,000 people STOPPED looking for work in August. Meaning they CANNOT be counted as unemployed. These people have no more unemployment benefits to claim and have realized there are zero jobs out there for them. If you were to re-calculate those numbers and include the people who are no longer looking for work, the unemployment rate would be 12%. This number does not include the UNDEREMPLOYED, or the people who have stopped looking for work over the past 3 years; that number would be an astonishing 23%. 2) 69% of men are working. Meaning 31% are not. The lowest % of working men since the 1940's. 3) The number of employed Americans is at the lowest number in the past 31 years. An incredible number considering there are more people now in the USA than there were in 1981. 4) A record high of 88,921,000 Americans whom are not in the civilian labor force. 5) Manufacturers have cut the most jobs in August than at anytime in the past two years. 6) The supposed "job growth" each month is LESS THAN the number of people LEAVING the workforce every month. People leaving the work force CANNOT be counted as unemployed. Time for a real Change...Romney/ Ryan 2012.

Keith, you're right...let's blame the President!? Forget about the Senate/Congress. Your stats and spin are a joke too; half baked stats/truths.
Keith Better September 10, 2012 at 08:38 PM
Keith - I don't doubt your numbers - but the saddest part about it is - that some of these businesses are doing it on purpose. I have actually spoke to several and it made me want to vomit. Far right conservatives do not want to "correct" the high unemployment because they are afraid it will make Obama look good. People will actually make other people suffer intentionally - just for whatever political edge it gives them. Do you think the people pushing for Romney Ryan really want to see those numbers get better BEFORE the election? No not until the black guys packs his bags. Then America can be back to it's normal self and the bigots can start hiring again. It's probably killing them not to have some low-life employees to boss around all this time. Romney an Ryan are not my choice, however - I will respect the President and his staff despite my personal opinion. Unlike a lot of people on here. Obama is our President right now & when people disrespect any president it makes me sick. Good luck with your agenda - I hope it fails miserably.

@KB, I'm sorry to read that you seriously think businesses are tanking on purpose to make Obama look bad. AND to make people suffer on top of that?.....You are not even close. This administration has crippled many industries because of regulations they passed which make it too costly to hire anyone and even too costly to continue doing business at all! (you think it's bad now?...wait till Obamacare) Why would businesses not want to grow and not want to hire people. First liberals complain that businesses and corporations make too much money and now your saying they are tanking on purpose. The only kamikaze effort I see is from this administration on our economy. The more people they have depending on the government, the more votes they will get. It's just that simple.
