Nagel Financing on Avon City Council Meeting Agenda

Public hearing on two ordinances before meeting.

Monday's 7:30 p.m. meeting of Avon City Council has a lot going on.

After last week's exciting work session, where mayor Jim Smith made a lot of Nagel Road area by recommending that the city not go forward with the controversial plan that involved using property assessments to help fund the coming Nagel interchange at Interstate 90, Council will be voting on a financing plan at the meeting.

Two ordinances that will have their third reading and a vote in Monday's meeting will be open for final public discussion in a public hearing at 7:20 p.m. One ordinance is adding Nagel Road to the city's master trail system. The other allows fast food restaurants with drive-thrus to have fewer parking spaces, as long as there is space alloted to expand parking if the business changes in the future.

Extending the moratorium on new development in the French Creek Sanitary Sewer District, which was enacted after several homes ended up with after the , will also be up for a vote.
