Power To Polling Locations Fully Restored

All Lorain County polling places open on Tuesday for General Election

With the General Election one day away and the city of Avon Lake still recovering from the Oct. 29 storm that blew through Northeast Ohio, the Lorain County Board of Elections received good news Nov. 4

“Our office has now been informed by Lorain County Emergency Management that power has been restored to Lakeshore United Methodist Church in Avon Lake,” Paul Adams, the Board of Elections director emailed on Nov. 4. “With the restoration of power to Learwood School in Avon Lake this past Friday and the restoration of power to Lakeshore United Methodist today, there are no more polling places in Lorain County that are without power.”

Voters should report to their regular polling locations on Avon Lake if they chose to vote this coming Tuesday. Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
