Editor's note: Due to coverage Avon-Avon Lake Patch delayed publication of our photo gallery of Mitt Romney's campaign stop in Avon Lake.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's stop at Avon Lake High School Oct. 29 came with all the bells and whistles. It included plenty of local politicians, a former Cleveland Brown, the Ohio Lt. Governor, a state senator and plenty of sign carrying supporters.

Avon Lake council members Dan Bucci and Jennifer Fenderbosch addressed the crowd, as did Sen. Rob Portman, candidates A.J. Torres, Nan Baker and Jim Renacci, Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor and former Cleveland Brown Gary Baxter.

Avon Lake High School's Chorale, under the direction of Bill Zurkey, sang the National Anthem before Romney took the stage and energized the crowd, some of whom waited for hours on a cold, rainy day.
